What is prayer if not our deepest, and perhaps highest selves, reaching out in love and care. We pray for all who struggle and are captured in earth’s tightest grip. We pray for those doctors and nurses, hospital staff, working to make miracles of life in the face of a devastating and deadly virus. We pray that politicians may learn Christ’s ways not in discipleship necessarily but in commitment to the good of all people, in peace, health and wholeness – shalom! We pray for churches in Redhill, for churches everywhere and for people who seek freedom to worship in their own traditions and ways. We continue to pray for the church’s members and friends, and all who wrestle with their bodies limitations. We pray for the family of Dorothy (Dottie) Humphreys who has died. May they know the love which gives life and mercy, the love of God.
Please join me on a Monday morning at 9am for about 25/30 minutes – in a time of quiet and reflection.
