Postbox and Picnic
Last year we sent a collective Christmas Post Box donation to the RNLI at Margate. This year we will make donations to the Air Ambulance. We will not be making road deliveries within our post box areas.
Any money/cheque donations should be given to Sylvia Puttock, our Venturers treasurer, NOT straight to the Air Ambulance. Last year one stray RNLI cheque went to their HQ in London so we think Margate missed out.
We hope (weather permitting) to hold a gathering (picnic) at the National Trust Emmetts Garden (Ide Hon Wednesday 13th or 20th October. You will need to inform Marion or Sylvia if you are coming. We will meet at the garden at 10.30am with our OWN lunch, drink and chair plus clothing depending on the weather. If you need transport or you are not an NT member please let us know. This will be an opportunity to discuss what we should do. Meetings and venues and when. If very wet you will be contacted.
