Prayer Corner

 1 March 2021 |

We have a special need at the moment for connection: with each other, with parts of ourselves and with God. Prayer is one way of connecting. If we choose a special time in the day to give to prayer, we may find comfort and connection. We are all troubled by where we find ourselves and we all need to give ourselves love and attention. Please do not think this is a bad reflection of our love of God, which overcomes our loneliness and isolation. Do not fear phoning people as they probably will be in need of a good chat too. Please pray for our church family, for those sad and down, for those struggling. Please pray for those who are unwell and perhaps frightened about their illness or the future. Please mention particular people who may need our prayers. For those who are keeping life carrying on as best they can: delivery drivers, shop assistants, nurses and doctors, for refuse collectors and those cleaning and repairing our roads. The list is long – let us show our thanks and appreciation of them all in our prayers. We pray for the different churches here in Redhill, those we have got to know by joining with them in worship and those who worship in different ways to us.
