We had the disappointment of not being able to have the Post box last December because of lockdown. Not being able to support the charities we usually support Beatie Nicholls asked us if we could possibly send some money from our funds to the Margate Lifeboat Station. Every year Godfrey had sent a donation to them but in the last couple of years he had found it increasingly difficult which prompted Beatie to ask if Venturers could perhaps send a donation which we agreed to do. With the help of donations from Church members we were able to send Margate Lifeboat Station £190.00
