I am pleased to write that the Society will commence its season (the 120th) on Monday 4th October at 7.45pm. when we shall have a presentation “Three women, one man – glamour, wealth and heartbreak” by Melanie Gibson-Barton. She is well known to members and has been to the Society several times. It will be a thought provoking talk revealing how the loves of four mystery icons intertwine in their pursuit of wealth, status and power.
We hope to use of the church with appropriate seating arrangements in October, then moving to the upper hall in November. We ask that you wear face masks at the meetings.
We have arranged for our speakers scheduled for 2019/20 to be available for the new season. (One has had to drop out but we shall try and get him next season). A programme is included in this magazine (or if you are reading this online click here.
For this season only we have reduced the subscription to £10. Visitors fee is £3 per lecture.
